Rent My Tutor is a pioneering EdTech platform dedicated to transforming the educational landscape in the Caribbean. Founded in July 2020 by Kemby Ross-Jones, our mission is to cultivate a community of learners proficient in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while enhancing digital literacy among students aged 2-5.
Recently, we have expanded our focus to include preschool and gradeschool education, specifically targeting STEM and digital literacy for young learners. Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate, digitally literate Preschool Teachers to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing young learners, implementing engaging lessons using SMART classroom tools, and creating a supportive, stimulating environment for students aged 2-5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lessons in literacy, numeracy, and STEM concepts using SMART classroom tools.
- Foster curiosity and engagement through interactive and hands-on activities.
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate with parents regularly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to create and execute a holistic educational approach.
- Assist with planning and organizing events or special activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Proficiency with digital tools, technology platforms, and SMART classroom systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a STEM-based curriculum and digital literacy.
- Experience working with children aged 2 to 5 preferred.
