Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 – 18:00 (can WFH on Sat)

The Category Marketing Executive is a strategic execution partner to the Category Marketing Manager, supporting category growth through strong insight generation, disciplined execution, and cross-functional collaboration. This role goes beyond administrative coordination and requires analytical thinking, business curiosity, and the ability to connect data, product, and commercial realities into actionable plans.

Main Accountabilities:

1. Business & Category Insight

  • Analyse category performance, operator insights, and competitive landscape.
  • Consolidate and interpret sales data to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps.
  • Prepare business updates and reports with clear key takeaways and recommendations.
  • Proactively flag risks and highlight improvement opportunities.

2. Innovation & Portfolio Execution

  • Support in-market launches of innovation/renovation projects.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of tactical launch projects from new product testing to launch for chain accounts, eg. Golden Gate, Vietnam Airlines, Sasin, etc.
  • Lead networks and coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, QA) to ensure timely delivery of local projects.
  • Track performance of Top 10 SKUs versus brand standards and benchmarks.

3. Product Experience & Marketing Materials

  • Coordinate internal and external product testing sessions with chef teams.
  • Ensure packaging artwork and claims align with global guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
  • Work with agencies on marketing materials, samples, and supporting assets.
  • Maintain product information accuracy across internal documents.

4. Commercial & Market Activation Support

  • Support category penetration initiatives aligned with business growth priorities.
  • Collaborate with CD teams to ensure marketing plans are practical and executable.
  • Manage sample allocation, tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Monitor activation effectiveness and consolidate post-activity reports.

5. Budget & Governance Excellence

  • Track category budget spending and maintain updated monitoring files.
  • Create and manage POs for marketing activities in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and project tracking for all initiatives.

Critical Success Factors for the Job:

  • Graduate from college/university with 2+ years of experience in Product/Category Marketing, preferably in FMCG or foodservice.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Time management.
  • Proactive attitude and ownership.
  • Collaborative mindset with a bias for action and cross-functional coordination.
  • Good English skill (both written and spoken).
  • Well versed with MS office applications.
