We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in pipelines and lift stations to oversee the design and project management of municipal or utility water transmission, sewer collection, and reclaimed water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive project management experience, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and project management of municipal and utility water transmission, sewer collection, and reclaimed water pipelines (minimum 42 in diameter) for projects of at least $30 million in value.
  • Manage the design and execution of municipal and utility pump (or lift) stations with 20+ horsepower pumps, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Oversee all phases of project delivery, including design, permitting, bidding, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including municipal clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Ensure projects comply with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Lead teams of engineers and technical professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Utilize project management methodologies, including design-bid-build and design-build delivery methods.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress, risks, and solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (BSc) in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
  • 10 to 20 years of experience in the design and/or project management of municipal or utility water infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in managing projects with budgets of $30 million or more.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with design-bid-build and design-build project delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes is preferred.
