We are seeking a skilled Oracle, MS Access Developer with at least 2+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining MS Access databases and applications. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle, and MS Access databases and applications.
- Create and manage tables, queries, forms, and reports in MS Access.
- Develop and implement VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) code to automate tasks and enhance database functionality.
- Optimize database performance, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to database integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures and controls.
- Perform regular database backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on MS Access applications.
- Stay updated with the latest MS Access features and best practices to continuously improve database solutions.
- Able to work multi regional groups across the globe as per project needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle, and MS Access database development.
- Proficient in creating and managing tables, queries, forms, and reports in MS Access.
- Strong knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for automation and customization within MS Access.
- Experience with database design principles, normalization, and data integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data migration and integration with other databases and applications is a plus.
- Experience with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and its integration with MS Access.
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as SQL, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to create database solutions that align with business needs.
