Job Purpose:

Chief Executive Officer is appointed by Board of Directors is to provide overall management to the company to attain its vision, mission, goals, objectives through developing strategic plans, leading, controlling, and monitoring all key activities related to products and services of the Agriculture Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop long term Agriculture strategy/ business plan.
  • Maintain good relationship with company business partners and government agencies.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate a basic management philosophy to guide all departments, staff toward optimal operating result, staff morale and partners satisfaction.
  • Be a legal representative of company to national and international agencies.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate institutional and operational activities of the institution.
  • Oversee the overall performance of respective department throughout the company and make sure actions taken of each department are aligned with company business plan.
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
  • Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
  • Execute the decision made by Board of Directors.
    
    Required Qualifications
  • Full commitment to companys vision, mission, purpose, values, procedures, and objectives.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate regulatory and company rules or norms.
  • Knowledge in agriculture, agribusiness, and agricultural commodity trading.
  • Knowledge of industries such as the fresh produce industry, cassava, rubber, rice, cocoa, oil palm, cashew, animal feed, poultry, aquaculture, or related agricultural value chains.
  • Knowledge in management, leading, controlling, analyzing, making decision and decision making.
  • Experience in project development and project finance.
  • Master degree is required (Finance & Banking, Management, or Business Administration).
  • At least 5 year- experience in the management level.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Strategic thinker, good communication, high responsibility, initiative, self-confidence, and proactive person.

    Decision Making and Subordinate(s)
  • Approve recruitments request, staff promotion, demotion and dismissal.
  • Approve staffs compensation and benefit.
  • Approve the investment and expenditure in the Agriculture.
  • Be a representative of the company to sign contracts and other agreements with stakeholders.
  • Approve the capital repayment and withdrawal.
  • Approve request to work overtime and staff mission on weekend/public holiday and the claim.
  • Approve Administration Letter and procurement request based on the scope stated in the policies which is approved by the Board of Directors.
