Job Description:
Suitable candidates are expected to help in conceiving and defining end-to-end Data Monetization strategies and pathways to Product(s)-as-a-Service solutions for existing and future clients of TCS in different vertical market segments including manufacturing & industrial automation, supply chain, energy & resources, utilities, TTH (travel, transportation, and hospitality), retail, healthcare & life sciences, etc.
Responsibilities:
- IoT solution architecture development in one or more industrial domains listed above. But importantly, must have experience working on IoT Data Monetization strategies and pathways to Product(s)-as-a-service
- Once deployed on a client project, continuously engage the client through thought leadership to ensure not only existing project goals are met, but also come up with innovative ideas to provide additional value to the client and ensure long-term stickiness with the client
- Coming up with IOT, Industry 4.0, and Industrial Analytics solution architectures, technologies, and approaches to exploit TCSs current competencies and offerings and to evolve a digital strategy that enables end-to-end solutions across a wide variety of use cases in multiple vertical domains
- Ability to translate business needs and customer pain points to digital platform/product use cases and business/market requirements. In addition, be willing to collaborate with key internal stakeholders including IoT solution leads to be able to stitch together an end-to-end IoT solution for a given client based on their business needs and using both TCS assets/accelerators and those of partners
- B.S. and/or MS. In any engineering discipline or computer science
- 10-15 years experience as a technical architect with deep knowledge of the business and technical drivers in one or more key vertical market segments identified above. Experience must include developing IoT and other digital technologies solution architectures based on client business requirements and use cases and keeping in mind clients domain context.
- Deep knowledge of digital solution building blocks including big data, cloud computing, embedded system development, network and communications systems including well-known IoT protocols and design patterns
- Deep experience and proficiency with either Azure or AWS full-stack IoT, Data Engineering, and Analytics PaaS.
- Be able to write code in Python or R and build prototypes. Basic cloud computing skills on AWS and/or Azure to be able to spin up a pipeline consisting of various PaaS for a skeleton solution.
- Ability to incorporate end-to-end IoT security and privacy consideration while developing solution architectures.
