Job Title:

JV Analyst

Purpose: ensure accurate management reporting on monthly basis for the actuals and for budget, forecasts, business plan, perform analysis of expenditures incurred. Ensure effective collaboration with departments in terms of understanding the projects/costs/ performance and appropriate reporting.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

To ensure in coordination with other Finance functions accurate management reporting for Budget, Forecasts, Business Plan including analysis of costs, allocation of costs, ensure quality and consistency of data upload in the existing corporate reporting systems.

To analyse the information regarding projects creation, relevant costs and allocated costs in close collaboration with technical, commercial and finance.

Provide monthly variance commentary for expenditures.

Check the budget availability, processing required internal forms, monitoring of spending.

To support upon request the authorization process and projects close-out with the required analysis of actual spending and check for budget availability in collaboration with relevant departments.

To analyze the proposed budget and business plan, to verify the consistency with the existing contracts and the historical trend and analyze the relative variance.

To prepare and check the required documentation in accordance with control risk matrix.

To perform on a timely basis any analysis required by the management. To propose any idea, adjustment or best practice that can improve the work in terms of deeper analysis, accuracy and time saving.

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have:

  • University degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in the industry.

Required Competencies:

The job holder must have proven:

  • Budgeting and forecasting methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems.
  • Overall understanding of main financial statements.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Accuracy, team player.
  • Capability to work with PC, MS office programs, SAP system.
  • Good verbal and written English.

Working Conditions:

Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, if required.
