Ball Grinder / Lapping Technician

1. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to measure size and roundness within of +/- .001 using micrometer

Experience with Fanuc Controls

Complete required inspection report and work order

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 2 years CNC experience

Use of precision measuring equipment

2. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The ability to use micrometers or appropriate measuring devices such as bridge gauges and
feeler gauges
The ability to read and interpret shop drawings
The ability to safely use shop equipment and hand tools including forklifts and overhead cranes
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
6 months experience with process manufacturing
