Structural Engineer

Job Description: Our client is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with a passion for designing commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design: Perform structural design and analysis for a variety of building types, including commercial, institutional, and industrial structures.
• Collaborative Work: Actively participate in a multidisciplinary design team, providing structural expertise to support project goals.
• Technical Consulting: Work closely with architectural teams to provide consultative support and integrate structural elements with architectural design requirements.
• Project Documentation: Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Use of Analysis Software: Utilize computer analysis software systems to perform structural calculations and simulations.
• Communication: Develop and maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that project expectations are met.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field; a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Professional Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is preferred but not required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the structural design of buildings or comparable structures.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with structural analysis software systems.
• Teamwork & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead, supervise, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Architectural Collaboration: Comfortable providing consultative support to architectural practices.
