Engineering Project Manager
About the job Engineering Project Manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience as engineering project manager, in industrial projects.
- In-depth understanding of engineering project is developed.
- Knowledge of process industries: oil& gas, chemical, food.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of nuclear industry will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project team to determine the specifications of the project
- Assist in Negotiations of contracts with external vendors/subcontractor.
- Assist in Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Assist in Planning all operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Manage team members and allocate responsibilities.
- Lead project team and interactions with Clients and contractors.
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
