Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Financial Services (FS) and Data Centres. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in ITIL, Incident & Change Management, and data-driven decision-making (Fact-based/MI driven). The ideal candidate will manage a team of 30-40 SMEs, mainly based in Bangalore, and handle a few UK-based stakeholders. The position is essential for ensuring seamless project delivery across multiple teams.

Must-Have Experience:

  • Senior Project Manager with Financial Services and Data Centre experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ITIL/Incident & Change Management.
  • Experience leading migration factory operations.
  • Strong knowledge of data-driven decision making and management information (MI).
  • Proven ability to manage large teams across geographies (Bangalore and UK/Scotland).

Role Description:

As the Operational Execution Manager, you will oversee the delivery of complex services and products, ensuring transparency and reliability across the portfolio. This role demands managing various project interdependencies and overseeing technical and political risks. You will be the key point of escalation, monitoring key delivery milestones, and ensuring risk management processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitor progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Manage project dependencies, feeding into larger Portfolio models.
  • Handle escalations and manage risks across multiple projects.
  • Engage with complex stakeholder groups and balance priorities.
  • Ensure milestones are tracked, and lessons learned are captured.
  • Measure customer success using CSAT/C-NPS and stakeholder feedback.
  • Track and forecast portfolio budgets, ensuring cash flow risks are flagged.
  • Manage team coaching, conduct quarterly retrospectives, and drive employee satisfaction.
  • Attend relevant governance boards, manage change requests, and report progress.
  • Participate in Service Improvement Processes (SIP) and quarterly PI Planning workshops.

  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of community building.
  • Expertise in planning and control techniques, budgeting, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills at CxO level and with large, diverse teams.
  • Ability to understand, manage, and communicate complex issues to multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SOWs and contracts, including governance and compliance.

Nice to Have:

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
  • Experience with Value Delivery Office (VDO) and Portfolio Management.
