Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer / BizDevOps Engineer (S/4 HANA, Fiori, EAM)

Duration: Immediate to December 31, 2025.

Workload: 80% - 100% (preferably 100%).

Location: Bern, Switzerland 60% onsite (3 days on-site per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 40% remote)

You will play a key role in the development of client-specific Fiori planning tool applications and contribute to one of the largest SAP S/4 HANA transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Engineering: Develop and maintain software solutions in an interdisciplinary, agile team.
• SAP S/4 HANA Transformation: Participate in the replacement of SAP ERP with SAP S/4 HANA and other SAP (Cloud) solutions.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Solution Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement software solutions using ABAP-OO, ODATA, CDS, and RAP.
• Testing & Coordination: Collaborate with subject matter experts to test and refine implemented solutions.
• Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of developed solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with on-site teams and offshore implementation partners.

What Were Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Education: IT degree (preferably university or technical college).
• Technical Expertise:
• Several years of hands-on experience with ABAP-OO, ODATA, CDS, and RAP (including frontend annotations).
• Proven experience in SAP S/4 HANA development.
• Basic technical knowledge of SAP EAM (especially notification and order processing).
• Continuous Delivery: Experience with processes, tools, and code quality practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Languages: Proficient in German and good English skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• In-depth knowledge of the SAP EAM development environment.
• Experience with side-by-side extensions using node.js.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager 7.2.
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
