Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end project management across assigned initiatives from initiation through planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestone trackers, dependency maps, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor progress across workstreams and ensure actions, decisions, and deliverables are tracked to closure.
- Identify risks, issues, bottlenecks, and interdependencies, and drive timely resolution.
- Ensure projects remain aligned to agreed scope, priorities, timelines, and governance requirements.
Governance and Executive Reporting
- Establish and manage effective governance across working groups, project forums, and executive committees.
- Prepare high-quality project status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, milestone updates, and management summaries.
- Produce clear and professional materials for SteerCos, executive reviews, sponsor updates, and governance meetings.
- Ensure reporting is concise, accurate, structured, and tailored for senior stakeholder consumption.
Presentation Development and Communication
- Develop polished presentations, update decks, decision papers, and briefing materials for senior management.
- Translate complex project and technology topics into clear, business-friendly communication.
- Support the preparation of executive papers, meeting packs, summary notes, and presentation materials.
- Maintain strong communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment, visibility, and timely decision-making.
Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate effectively across business, technology, enterprise architecture, compliance, legal, risk, operations, finance, procurement, and external vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, working groups, steering forums, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and decisions.
- Act as the central point of coordination across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Vendor and External Partner Management
- Coordinate with external vendors, consulting partners, and technology providers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track vendor deliverables, workshops, actions, and timelines.
- Support commercial, onboarding, documentation, and governance processes where required.
- Ensure external dependencies are identified early and actively managed.
Financial, Resource, and Delivery Tracking
- Support budgeting, funding tracking, resource planning, and financial oversight for project activities where required.
- Track staffing dependencies, delivery capacity, and mobilization activities.
- Ensure assumptions, scope boundaries, and project constraints are clearly documented and managed.
Documentation and Project Controls
- Maintain all core project artifacts including project plans, meeting minutes, action trackers, decision logs, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Ensure disciplined project management practices and proper record keeping across all stages of delivery.
- Support project auditability and governance by maintaining structured and accurate project documentation.
Change Management and Delivery Readiness
- Monitor scope changes, delivery impacts, key decisions, and implementation readiness.
- Support transition from planning and design into execution and implementation phases.
- Help ensure project outputs are practical, actionable, and implementation-oriented.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in project management, program management, or transformation delivery
- Proven track record of managing complex enterprise initiatives across business and technology functions
- Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
- Strong experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders, governance forums, and external vendors
- Experience in preparing senior management updates, governance packs, and executive presentations
Core Project Management Skills
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, tracking, and delivery management
- Strong governance, RAID management, and dependency management skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and execution capability in complex and evolving environments
- Experience managing projects from initiation through execution and closure
Communication and Presentation Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation development capability, especially for executive and management audiences
- Ability to create clear, concise, and visually structured reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Strong ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and effective way
Stakeholder Management
- Strong stakeholder management capability across business, technology, control, and vendor teams
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops, review meetings, and governance forums
Required Skills and Experience
- Exposure to Payments, Compliance AML , digital assets, blockchain, DLT, fintech, or emerging technology initiatives
- Experience in strategic transformation or innovation-led programs
- Familiarity with enterprise technology delivery, architecture dependencies, and vendor-led implementations
- Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements in financial services
- Experience supporting proof-of-concept, MVP, or new product / platform initiatives
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Master's degree is an advantage
- Project management certification preferred, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
