Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats, incidents, and alerts.
• Provide operational support to maintain a secure and adaptable global IT environment.
• Assess and escalate security incidents to Level 2 analysts based on severity and impact.
• Assist in cybersecurity incident investigations and mitigation efforts.
• Analyze security alerts to filter out false positives and confirm genuine threats.
• Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, including actions taken, timelines, and resolution status.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security policies and configurations are effectively implemented across the network.
• Prepare and generate security reports for management.

Core Skills and Experience:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, particularly in incident response or security operations.
• Strong understanding of modern security frameworks and best practices for incident response.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience within a trading or financial services environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and foundational knowledge of networking and operating systems.
