What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a driven and innovative Python Developer/Risk Strategist to join our Risk & PnL team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge valuation and risk engine that supports our global trading operations.
• Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Collaborate effectively across teams, engaging with both technical developers and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Deepen their understanding of trading, deal structures, and risk management concepts while applying technical skills to solve real-world challenges.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Python Expertise: 3+ years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions with Python, with a track record of creating robust, maintainable, and extensible code.
• C++ Experience: Some professional experience with C++ development.
• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-driven, capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) for business contexts.

Additional Skills that make you stand out:

• Derivative Risk Knowledge: Familiarity with derivative risk concepts, including option pricing and Greek risk measures, particularly in the commodities space.
• Database Programming: Experience with PL/SQL (preferred) or similar procedural database programming languages like T-SQL.
• UI Development: Hands-on experience building user interfaces using React.
