We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional and Technical Architect specializing in Infrastructure and Security to join our clients' team, focusing on the healthcare sector. This role is pivotal in driving technical programs and projects, ensuring robust infrastructure, and enhancing security measures for our client.

Position

• Senior Functional and Technical Architect for Infrastructure and Security

Experience required

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing technical projects with a focus on governance, scope, quality, budget, and risk management
• Proficiency in drafting technical specifications and RFPs/RFIs
• Proven experience in conducting opportunity/feasibility studies, PoCs and technical audits
• Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing and designing both technical and functional architectures
• Deep understanding of infrastructure systems, networks, security, storage solutions, backups, databases, and telecommunications/video conferencing, high availability/clustering, hyper-convergence, virtualization, Data Center architectures, microservices architectures (Kubernetes orchestrator, Docker containers)
• Demonstrated experience and certifications in cybersecurity
• Insight into the hospital sector and its unique IT requirements
• Familiarity with Agile approaches and change management

Main responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical programs/projects, encompassing scope, quality, budget, risk management, human and financial capacity, scheduling, reporting, committee leadership, change management, and stakeholder management
• Draft technical specifications and requests for proposals (RFI/RFP) in compliance with public procurement regulations. 
• Conduct opportunity and feasibility studies, Proof of Concepts (PoC), and technical audits of infrastructure components
• Review and design technical and functional architectures

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CYSA+, OSCP) are highly desirable
