We are looking for a skilled Cloud-Ops Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for technology in the capital project space and a talent for solving complex issues, wed love to hear from you. In this role, you will provide technical support for our SaaS products to a global user base. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, including networking, storage, and compute resources.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
- Respond to IT support requests and provide quality resolution within established Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud operations or a similar role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with construction software in the project controls or scheduling space
