Finance and Accounting Manager

A high-growth Web3 infrastructure company is building payment solutions that make on-chain transactions intuitive, secure, and seamless. Their technology enables decentralized applications to accept payments from multiple sources — including crypto wallets, centralized exchanges, and fiat on-ramps — helping accelerate adoption of blockchain-based commerce.

About the Role

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will play a key role in developing scalable financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining strong internal controls. You will collaborate closely with teams across engineering, product, operations, and business development to support financial visibility across the organization.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who wants to gain broader exposure across finance while working in a fast-moving blockchain environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal control standards
• Oversee both fiat and digital asset liquidity, balancing operational efficiency with risk management

• Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Manage crypto and fiat accounting workflows, including transaction reconciliation, revenue recognition, and digital asset reporting

• Support leadership with financial analysis and forecasting

• Develop and document scalable accounting processes to support operational growth, audit readiness, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting
• Lead or assist with strategic initiatives such as financial systems implementation, automation, and tooling improvements

Requirements

• 4–8 years of finance and accounting experience, with exposure to full-cycle accounting
• Experience working with crypto / blockchain accounting and digital asset transactions
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, and month-end closing processes
• Experience reconciling high volumes of on-chain transactions and supporting ERP/accounting system implementation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in payment operations (fiat or crypto)

• Professional certification such as CPA

• Familiarity with startup finance tooling (e.g., QuickBooks, Ramp, digital asset treasury platforms)

• Exposure to audit, tax, and compliance frameworks in high-growth companies

• Strong interest in blockchain technology
