3D Motion & Marketing Designer (Part-Time, Contract)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Motion & Marketing Designer to own and elevate our brands visual storytelling. This role focuses on 3D and motion-led content across social media, marketing campaigns, product launches, partnerships, and events. The position begins as a part-time contract role with the potential to transition to full-time.
Important: Candidates currently employed at select fintech, payments, exchange, or DeFi infrastructure companies are not eligible for consideration.

About the Role
This role will take ownership of motion and 3D design across all marketing and brand touchpoints. You will collaborate closely with product design and marketing leadership to ensure a cohesive, premium visual identity across channels.
While a foundational brand system exists, there is significant opportunity to shape, extend, and refine the visual language. Your work will directly influence how the brand is perceived and experienced.
Responsibilities

Lead all 3D and motion design initiatives across marketing, brand, and product.

Conceptualize, design, and animate visuals for campaigns, launches, and social media.

Create high-quality 3D illustrations, motion graphics, and animations aligned with brand aesthetics.

Build, document, and expand the marketing design system.

Partner with product designers, marketers, and leadership to maintain a unified visual language.

Push creative boundaries and continuously elevate the brands look and feel.

Own projects end-to-end, including storyboarding, animation, compositing, editing, and final delivery.

Incorporate sound design and advanced compositing as needed to produce polished motion assets.
Required Qualifications

Expert-level motion design and animation skills using After Effects and at least one 3D tool (Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift, Octane, or equivalent).

Strong 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, and rendering experience.

Advanced compositing and editing capabilities.

Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and storytelling through motion.

Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

A portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D and motion work with strong narrative execution.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

Experience with sound design and audio synchronization for motion.

Comfort with video editing tools such as Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.

Experience evolving and extending an existing brand system.

Ability to contribute to creative direction, including concepts, storyboards, and campaign aesthetics.

Familiarity with Lottie and Spline.

Experience or interest in crypto/Web3 (nice to have, not required).

Location: Remote (United States preferred); open to exceptional candidates in Canada, Mexico, and LATAM.
