Tech Talent International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.

We currently have a role as a Senior Cloud Architect - Azure with our large consulting client onsite at a major financial services client in the downtown Montreal area.

Role: Cybersecurity - Senior Cloud Architect - Azure

Type: Permanent or Contract 40 hrs/week

Location: Hybrid - Downtown Montreal, QC -(roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months, then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite, 2 days from home)

Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 + 9% bonus + 3-5 weeks paid vacation + RRSP contribution + benefits + sick/personal days

  • Act as the main point of contact for the AMER region within a global Cloud team distributed between Montréal and Paris
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of the Public Cloud platform on Microsoft Azure
  • Define architecture and solutions aligned with business needs and security constraints
  • Automate provisioning of cloud services using Terraform, scripting, and related tools
  • Maintain and upgrade Azure services; manage production incidents in coordination with Microsoft
  • Develop tools to enhance cloud services (cost monitoring, resiliency checks, etc.)
  • Provide reusable code samples and templates to accelerate Public Cloud adoption
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for build and testing processes
  • Support production and ensure platform reliability and performance
  • Train and advise internal teams on Azure usage and best architectural practices



Mandatory Experience

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (infrastructure, security, production)
  • Strong experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Terraform or Bicep)
  • Good understanding of CI/CD methodologies
  • Solid understanding of security requirements in a banking environment

Nice to Have

  • Good communication skills and bilingualism (English/French)
  • Experience with AKS, FinOps, and high availability environments
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Packer, and Chocolatey
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, DEC, or equivalent technical certifications
