TTE Staffing partners with reputable manufacturing companies to provide top talent for technical and operational roles. We are currently hiring for a trusted client in Pittsfield, NH, who is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant to support their engineering and maintenance teams.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, technically inclined Manufacturing Assistant to work directly with the engineering department. This role is perfect for someone with vocational training or relevant college coursework, looking to grow within the manufacturing field. Youll support production operations by maintaining equipment, operating shop tools, and contributing to technical repair documentation and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the engineering team with equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Operate and maintain toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, and saws.

Adjust and operate automated inspection and machine tending equipment.

Document all repairs and preventive maintenance using computerized maintenance software.

Track parts inventory and assist with procurement for repairs.

Participate in annual equipment maintenance and work alongside the maintenance manager.

Ensure smooth operations and compliance with company procedures, safety, and quality goals.

Assist in fabrication and machine setup as needed.
Qualifications:

Vocational training or relevant college coursework in manufacturing or engineering.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance documentation software.

Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and equipment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred (but not required): Project management knowledge, CNC operations experience.

Reliable transportation to Pittsfield, NH.
