Our client, a fast-growing startup in the collectibles space, is building a mobile-first barter marketplace for trading cards serving a rapidly expanding $10B+ secondary market. With over $120M in transactions and 3x growth in 2024, they're pioneering a swap economy that empowers collectors to trade cards directly, anytime and anywhere.
They're seeking a sharp, hands-on Founding Product Manager to join their lean team and help shape the future of trading. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the founding team, own product strategy, and build out core features that drive user engagement and platform growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with founders to define and prioritize product initiatives
- Write product documentation and specs
- Analyze feature performance and iterate based on insights
- Lead mobile-first product development across core user experiences
- Own projects end-to-end, from ideation to launch (e.g., vaulting workflows, package tracking systems)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-8 years of experience in a user-facing B2C product role
- Experience at a fast-paced consumer startup (not late-stage)
- Proven success building mobile-first consumer experiences
- Strong scientific mindset: unit economics, growth loops, retention metrics
- Some coding ability and comfort with data tools
- High general intelligence, sharp prioritization skills, and a no-ego attitude
- Bonus: Interest or experience in trading cards, Pokémon, or collectible culture
- Open to candidates from top-tier consulting firms (MBB) with 12 years PM experience
- Education from a top-tier university (Ivy League or top public), STEM preferred but flexible
