Mid-Senior Business / Data Analyst for Banking

Join a Baltic IT powerhouse that has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects across Scandinavia and the Baltics so its clients never have to juggle multiple vendors.

As the Business / Data Analyst, you will join the Customer Ledger Migration initiative at one of their key banking partners – one of the largest provider of financial services in the Baltics, serving private and business customers across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You will act as the bridge between business, IT, migration and reporting teams – coordinating data-related activities, validating migration data and building Power BI dashboards that give stakeholders full transparency on migration progress, data quality and delivery.

What you will do:

Coordinate data-related activities across business, IT, migration and reporting teams.

Manage migration-related scope, requirements and JIRA tickets across business and IT teams.

Analyse and validate migration data, identify data quality issues and support reconciliation activities.

Gather and document reporting requirements and KPIs together with stakeholders.

Design and develop Power BI dashboards to track migration progress, data quality and delivery metrics.

Facilitate discussions between business, migration and technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

What you bring:

4-6 years of experience in business analysis or related roles across the full software development lifecycle (mid-level / senior).

Consulting-level Power BI expertise – designing dashboards, reports, data models and visualisations.

Strong SQL and data analysis skills to query data, validate requirements and support insights.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – able to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word (documentation) and PowerPoint (presentations).

Fluency with JIRA, Confluence or similar tools for managing requirements, documentation and workflows.

Bonus if you have:

Understanding of financial products, processes and IT systems in banking or finance.

Experience with data migration or core banking transformation programmes.

Understanding of customer ledger and reconciliation processes.

Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting concepts.

A proactive, self-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and priorities.
