About Tech Partners LLC

Tech Partners LLC is an IT staffing and workforce consulting firm connecting skilled technology professionals with contract and direct-hire opportunities across Oklahoma and beyond. We're currently sourcing on behalf of a public sector client in the Oklahoma City area for two contract Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer openings.

The Role

Our client is looking for a Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer to join their IT team on a 12-month contract (with option to extend), supporting the daily management, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing of a business-critical workforce solution built on the Salesforce platform. You'll be the person keeping a high-visibility system stable — resolving issues, tuning performance, and making steady improvements — while working closely with business stakeholders who depend on the platform every day.

This is a hands-on, blended role: about half configuration and administration, half real APEX development. You should be equally comfortable inside Setup managing forms and security as you are writing and optimizing APEX and SOQL.

What You'll Do

  • Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce forms, page layouts, and record types
  • Configure and maintain field-level security and validation rules
  • Write, test, and maintain APEX classes, triggers, and test methods to resolve bugs and deliver enhancements
  • Write and optimize SOQL queries for performance, including handling complex cross-object/cross-table queries
  • Manage user and service account profiles, permission sets, and access controls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day system issues to maintain platform stability
  • Communicate status updates clearly and proactively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Work independently and manage your own workload to meet deadlines

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Confident, hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including navigation, forms, and field-level security
  • Demonstrated APEX development experience (classes, triggers, test classes)
  • Strong SOQL skills, including query optimization and cross-table/relationship queries
  • Experience managing profiles, permission sets, and service accounts
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable with status reporting and requirements discovery with business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and deliver on time with minimal oversight
  • Must be local to the Oklahoma City metro area or able to reliably commute on-site 2 days/week

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Experience with Flow Builder/Process Builder
  • Prior experience on a government, public sector, or Government Cloud Salesforce instance
  • Experience supporting case-management or workforce-related applications

Schedule & Location

This is a hybrid contract role based in Oklahoma City, OK - 2 days on-site, 3 days remote each week. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance of the Oklahoma City metro area.
