BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A content creator is an individual adept at crafting and disseminating compelling, pertinent, and captivating content across diverse platforms, with the aim of captivating and retaining a specific audience. This designation will be responsible for spanning the creation of content in multiple formats including articles, blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, social media posts, and beyond.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop original content ideas based on target audience interests, industry trends, and marketing goals; this can involve writing articles, scripts, or designing visuals;
2. Responsible for inbound marketing strategies to build a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online;
3. Produce engaging multimedia content; including photos, videos, GIFs, and animations, that align with the brands tone and style and distribute content across appropriate channels (company websites, social media platforms, email newsletters);
4. Monitor audience engagement metrics and respond to audience feedback and inquiries in engaging with followers and foster a sense of community around the brand;
5. Maintain a content calendar to plan and organize content creation and distribution schedules;
6. Adjust content strategies based on data insights to optimize future posts and improve engagement;
7. Collaborate with influencers, brand partners, and external agencies to boost content reach;
8. Work with other team members such as designers, marketers, and subject matter experts to brainstorm ideas, gather feedback, and ensure content meets objectives and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. At least Bachelors Degree in Creative Multimedia/ Marketing/ Business Administration or in related field;
2. Having at least 1 year of experience in marketing, communications or related field, preferably in cosmetics industry is a plus;
3. Good command (both spoken and written) in Malay and English;
4. Good writing, design and editing (photo/video/text/graphic) and sharp presentation skill;
5. Familiarity with social media analytics platforms (e.g. Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics, TikTok Analytics) and broader tools;
6. Basic knowledge of photography and video production techniques;
7. Creative mindset to generate engaging content ideas.
