Assistant Fashion Production

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Prototype Development

· Supporting the product development team with the sampling process.

· Work closely with designers and product development teams to bring concepts to life.

2. Understanding of sewing and materials

· Possess a basic understanding of sewing techniques and materials used in production.

· Identify different types of fabrics, threads, and other sewing materials.

· Collaborate with the production team to ensure the availability of required materials

3. Materials Sourcing

· Source materials approved by the company for production purposes.

· Research potential suppliers and obtain terms and pricing.

· Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunities for cost savings.

· Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.

4. Stock and Inventory Management

· Perform regular stock and inventory counts for new stock arrivals.

· Ensure the incoming physical stock tallies with invoices and delivery orders.

· Record stock counts accurately and update the superior, to update inventory systems accordingly.

· Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock counts and inform Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma (any field) or equivalent.

• Proven experience in inventory management, materials sourcing, or related fields.

• Familiarity with any editing software and systems.

• Basic knowledge of sewing techniques and materials preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
