BRIEF DESCRIPTION

A content creator is an individual adept at crafting and disseminating compelling, pertinent, and captivating content across diverse platforms, with the aim of captivating and retaining a specific audience. This designation will be responsible for spanning the creation of content in multiple formats including articles, blog posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, social media posts, and beyond.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop original content ideas based on target audience interests, industry trends, and marketing goals. This can involve writing articles, scripts, or designing visuals.
  • Responsible for inbound marketing strategies to build a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online.
  • Publish and distribute content across appropriate channels; company websites, social media platforms, email newsletters.
  • Monitor audience engagement metrics and respond to audience feedback and inquiries in engaging with followers and foster a sense of community around the brand.
  • Maintain a content calendar to plan and organize content creation and distribution schedules. Ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with marketing campaigns and events.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content formats and technologies; incorporate new ideas and innovations into content strategy as appropriate.
  • Work closely with other team members such as designers, marketers, and subject matter experts to brainstorm ideas, gather feedback, and ensure content meets objectives and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must possess at a Bachelors Degree in related field;
  • Having at least 1 year of experience in marketing, communications or related field is a plus;
  • Good command (both spoken and written) in Malay and English;
  • Good writing, editing (photo/video/text/graphic) and sharp presentation skill;
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok is a must;
  • Creative mindset to generate engaging content ideas.
