We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing detailed project plans and schedules for our oil and gas projects. The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other planning software

- Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and project execution plans

- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues

- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project milestones are met

- Analyze project data and provide regular progress reports to management

- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations

- Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

- Train and mentor junior planning engineers as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in the oil and gas industry

- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or other planning software

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of HSE regulations and practices

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Contract Details:

This is a 6 months contract position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates  will be extended for an year or get permanent based on the performance. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
