We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our Mexican cuisine team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Mexican cuisine and a strong background in managing a kitchen and team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes are served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and create new menu items while also maintaining the authenticity and quality of traditional Mexican dishes

- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating

- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times

- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement cost-saving strategies and increase profitability

- Maintain a positive and professional working environment, fostering teamwork and open communication

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to kitchen staff

- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in Mexican cuisine, and incorporate them into menu development and kitchen operations

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or similar role, with a proven track record of success in managing a kitchen and team

- Extensive knowledge and experience in Mexican cuisine and a passion for creating authentic and high-quality dishes

- In-depth understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to develop and implement new menu items

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
