Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with expertise in E-houses for the petrochemical and oil & gas sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for E-house projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment based on project needs and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a database of cost information for various components and services.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling activities to align estimates with project timelines.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during the bidding and execution phases.
- Monitor and report on project cost performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to E-houses and cost estimation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in cost estimation for E-houses in the petrochemical and oil & gas industries.
- Strong knowledge of E-house design, construction, and installation processes.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Excel, Staad Pro, Auto Cad, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
