The HVAC Estimation Engineer is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems in E-Houses and Oil & Gas accommodation projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems within E-Houses and Oil & Gas accommodation projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documents to gather necessary information.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Research and source pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Prepare and present estimates to management.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks within project proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry standards, advancements, and trends.
- Track and report on estimation metrics and project costs.
- Assist in contract negotiations and subcontractor/vendor selections.
- Ensure all estimates comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience in cost estimation for HVAC projects,
- particularly in E-Houses and Oil & Gas sectors for onshore and offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (DX , Chilled water, VRF ), components, and design standards.
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

Skills:
- HVAC design and analysis.
- Expert in use of HVAC design software like HAP an ELITE
- Cost estimation software (e.g., ProEst, RSMeans).
- AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understanding of construction codes and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Negotiation and contract management.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking.
