The Project Manager - Fitout will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, andcompletion of interior fitout projects. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage all aspects of the fitout process, including budgeting,scheduling, team coordination, and quality control. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the clients expectations in terms of

design and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination

o Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, schedule, and resource

requirements.

o Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project goals.

o Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.

2. Budget and Cost Control

o Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of

resources.

o Track expenditures, manage change orders, and control financial risks to prevent cost overruns.

o Collaborate with the quantity surveyor to ensure accurate costing and

reporting.

3. Client and Stakeholder Management

o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.

o Organize client meetings, presentations, and site visits to keep stakeholders

informed.

o Address client concerns and adjust project plans as needed to maintain

satisfaction.

4. Team Leadership and Coordination

o Lead a team of designers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring

collaboration and efficient workflow.

o Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, tracking performance and progress.

o Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards, maintaining clear

communication between team members.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance

o Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is proceeding according to plan, design specifications, and quality standards.

o Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.

o Identify and resolve any issues or non-compliance promptly.

6. Procurement and Vendor Management

o Oversee procurement of materials and services required for the project,

ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

o Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms for the project.

o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet design specifications.

7. Risk Management and Problem Solving

o Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

o Resolve issues related to project scope, resources, or unforeseen

circumstances that may arise during construction.

o Adjust project schedules and resources to minimize disruptions and delays.

8. Health and Safety

o Ensure all site activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations.

o Conduct safety audits and provide training to team members as necessary.

o Address and mitigate any health and safety risks on-site.

9. Project Handover and Close-Out

o Oversee the final handover process, ensuring all project deliverables meet the clients requirements.

o Prepare close-out documentation, including warranties, manuals, and

compliance certificates.

o Conduct a post-project review to assess performance, lessons learned, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Project Manager in interior fitout or construction projects.

Strong understanding of fitout processes, materials, and construction techniques.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera,AutoCAD).

Knowledge of local building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures.

PMP or similar certification is a plus.
