Specific Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing restaurant staff's work schedules
  • Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
  • Monitoring the restaurants cash flow and settling outstanding bills
  • Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Oversee all front and back of the house restaurant operations
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
  • Ensure that all checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
  • Ensure staffing levels for all outlets are accurate based Event and business needs.
  • To carry out all the roles and responsibilities of the junior level as and when required.

Pre-requisites

  • Graduate in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or Hotel Management
  • 3-5 years of minimum experience in a restaurant or related industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role within a restaurant or hotel
  • Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, Wiring)
