Your expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced design tools, combined with a deep understanding of 2025 UAE regulations, will ensure exceptional project outcomes that exceed client expectations and comply with local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and 2025 UAE regulatory requirements, including Dubais BIM mandates for buildings over 40 floors or 300,000 sq ft.
  • Design Development: Create and refine design concepts, mood boards, and space plans that align with client objectives, incorporating Al Safat Green Building System and 2025 Dubai Green Building Regulations for sustainability (energy efficiency, water conservation, microclimate considerations).
  • BIM Expertise: Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools to develop detailed 3D models, construction drawings, and documentation compliant with ISO 19650 standards and Dubai Municipalitys digital submission portals.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders (suppliers, sub-consultants) using Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Autodesk Construction Cloud to resolve design issues and ensure seamless integration.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand needs, present proposals using VR/AR visualizations (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion), and deliver exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Material and Finish Selection: Research and specify sustainable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet aesthetic goals, budget constraints, and 2025 UAE sustainability standards (e.g., Federal Law No. 11 on Climate Change for GHG emissions).
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with UAE codes, including Dubai Law No. 7 of 2025 (Contracting Activities) and DEWA standards.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design, and Construction Documents, using BIM automation tools.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering professional growth and training them on BIM workflows, AI-driven design tools, and sustainable practices.
  • Authority Liaison: Liaise with local authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA), attend technical meetings, and secure approvals through digital portals, ensuring compliance with 2025 regulations.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external parties to ensure timely delivery and alignment with project plans.
  • Digital Roadmap Support: Contribute to BIM activities by developing and implementing digital workflows, enforcing documentation standards, and automating routines to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Site Inspections: Travel to project sites across UAE emirates for physical inspections and surveys, utilizing drone-assisted tools or AR platforms (e.g., HoloLens) for precision.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., TestFit, Spacemaker) for generative design and predictive analytics, contributing to the companys Data Insights initiative and Lessons Learnt Database.
