Associated Supervisor: Chief Deployment Demonstrator Mission (DDM) Engineer
About the Position: During our Tumbleweed Deployment Demonstrator Mission (DDM), the first ever mission to show the working principle of our rover in a high altitude drop, rigorous testing will be required for ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our Tumbleweed Mars Rovers. As a fully-fledged Mars Mission being is soon approaching, Team Tumbleweed has reached a critical point in which our cutting-edge technology is being developed and tested at a high magnitude of complexity and intensity.
As a Testing engineer you are required to have a strong hands-on approach, a good understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to contribute to the development of robust prototypes.

Strong communication and intercultural skills
Excellent written & spoken English
Willingness for continuous learning and personal development
Hands-on experience with testing equipment, tools, and prototype development
Experience with 3D Printing
Familiarity with establishing testing protocols
Good documentation and reporting skills
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Expected commitment of at least 1.5 years and approximately 15 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Execute various tests, including functional, performance, stress, environmental and integration testing.
Collaborate with your colleagues in the design/ engineering teams to refine and optimize prototypes based on testing results.
Develop comprehensive test plans and organize tests for DDM components and systems.
Document testing procedures, results, and prototype designs.
