About the job SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT PRODUCER
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Producer & Shopify Manager to join our team. This dual-role position combines expertise in managing engaging social media content across multiple platforms with the technical and operational skills to maintain and enhance Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy, content creation, and e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Content Creation & Strategy
- Instagram
Design engaging Feed Posts (multi-crop formats: square, vertical, carousel).
Create interactive Stories with overlays, stickers, and GIFs.
Develop dynamic Reels with animations and transitions.
Maintain brand consistency through custom Highlight Covers.
- Facebook
Curate optimized Feed Posts (square and landscape formats).
Create engaging Facebook Stories and Ads for retargeting.
- Pinterest
Design visually compelling Pins with text overlays.
Develop Story Pins for step-by-step engagement.
- LinkedIn
Produce professional Company Page Posts with overlay captions.
Optimize Article Headers for brand messaging.
- TikTok
Develop trend-aligned Feed Videos with animations, text prompts, and storytelling to accelerate platform growth.
2. Shopify Store Management
Regularly update Shopify store content, including product descriptions, imagery, and layout.
Optimize product listings for SEO and conversions.
Monitor inventory, process updates, and troubleshoot operational issues.
Implement promotional campaigns, discount codes, and sales events.
Work with development teams to customize Shopify themes and enhance user experience.
3. Website Content Development
Design high-resolution Homepage Banners and Product Page Images.
Create Blog Thumbnails and backgrounds for CTA Sections.
Develop mobile-friendly Web Stories (AMP) for improved search results.
4. Video & Animated Content
Produce Short-Form Videos (5-10 seconds) with animations and overlays.
Design GIFs and Cinemagraphs for email headers and social feeds.
Incorporate Motion Graphics into TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
5. Email Marketing Support
Design Newsletter Headers and Promotional Images.
Create visuals for Customer Onboarding emails and product demos.
6. Digital Advertising
Develop Google Ads and Social Ads with optimized visuals and CTAs.
Create YouTube Thumbnails and pre-roll ads.
7. User-Generated Content & Community Engagement
Create branded Templates to encourage user-generated content.
Design reference visuals for Influencer Kits to maintain consistency.
8. Internal Support
Provide visuals for Brand Guidelines, team presentations, and project proposals.
Working Conditions:
Work setup preferred: Remote
Working Hours: Flexible between UK/US time zones M-F, must be amenable to shifting schedule
