About the job FINANCIAL ANALYST (PART TIME)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Financial Analyst with Market Research Experience to provide strategic insights. The ideal candidate will combine advanced financial expertise with a strong understanding of market trends to drive business growth, ensure compliance, and inform strategic decision-making. This role is critical to overseeing the organizations financial health and leveraging market data for competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Oversight:
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international accounting standards.
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including performance metrics and ROI analysis.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in the industry.
- Analyze competitor performance and market positioning to inform pricing, expansion, and diversification strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to integrate market insights into business planning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role as a Financial Controller or similar.
- Demonstrated expertise in market research and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Working Conditions:
- Part-time with flexible hours, as needed to meet project deadlines and strategic needs. Must be amenable to night shift
