The Role:

We are looking for a Risk Adjustment Coder to join our passionate team. Using your risk adjustment coding skills, you will help our calls related to HCC code suspecting and recapture and help us gain an accurate understanding the risk burden of the patient population.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform internal provider chart reviews from home and abstract all available risk adjustable diagnosis codes and attach them to the claim.
• Provide feedback to providers about how they can improve their documentation and coding to better meet standard requirements.
• Perform internal patient medical record review and add appropriate risk adjustable codes to patient problem lists.
• Formulate recommendations for process improvement.
• Stay up to date on all standard and changes related to risk adjustment coding.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Medical-related course
• With recent medical coding experience in clinical/BPO/CPO set-up
• Certification in Risk Adjustment Medical Coding preferred
• Prior medical coding experience
• Minimum two years of hospital or professional services experience reviewing, abstracting, and coding medical records
