About the job AGILE PROJECT LEAD
About the Client:
Our client is a leading European healthcare technology company that develops enterprise software used by audiology clinics worldwide. They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for an experienced Agile Project Lead / Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of cloud-based software products while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Agile Project Lead / Project Manager who treats delivery as a personal commitment - not just a process. You will be the connective tissue between our product vision and the engineering team that builds it, removing friction, driving clarity, and holding the bar for quality outcomes.
This role goes beyond ceremony facilitation. We need someone who owns the delivery pipeline end-to-end; who challenges scope creep with data; and who earns the trust of developers and stakeholders alike through consistent, transparent execution.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Own the end-to-end sprint and release cycle: planning, execution, review, and retrospective.
- Identify and eliminate impediments proactively - escalate with context, not just problems.
- Track and act on Kanban/Scrum metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput) to optimise flow.
- Manage dependencies across squads and external teams without letting them become blockers.
AI-Driven Delivery
- Actively use AI tools in day-to-day delivery work - status reporting, sprint summaries, risk flagging, and documentation generation. (Auditdata builds AI-first with Claude / Claude Code.)
- Identify repetitive delivery tasks (standup notes, backlog grooming prep, stakeholder updates) and automate or augment them with AI agents.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-powered tooling into the team's workflow - from LLM-assisted ticket writing to automated sprint analytics.
- Share learnings across the team and help build a culture where AI is a natural part of how work gets done, not an afterthought.
Scope & Change Management
- Challenge and control scope creep by facilitating transparent trade-off conversations.
- Manage mid-sprint changes with rigour: assess impact, communicate clearly, adapt plans accordingly.
- Translate stakeholder requests into clear acceptance criteria and delivery commitments.
People & Team Culture
- Foster a psychologically safe, high-trust environment where the team can do their best work.
- Provide regular, honest feedback and coaching - both praise and constructive challenge.
- Support team members who are new to Agile through education, pairing, and modelling good practice.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to gather and act on team feedback and people-related insight.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Adapt methodology (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid) to the needs of each project and team.
- Lead retrospectives that produce actionable improvements - not just lists of feelings.
- Document decisions, risks, and changes in a way that keeps the whole team informed.
What We're Looking For:
Must-have
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Lead, or delivery-focused Project Manager in a software product company.
- Demonstrated ability to remove real impediments and drive delivery, not just facilitate meetings.
- Proficiency with backlog management and agile tooling (Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).
- Experience with Kanban metrics: cycle time, throughput, WIP limits, lead time.
Strongly preferred
- Experience transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile.
- Experience working at scale / using SAFe, LeSS or other frameworks in practice.
- Basic technical literacy - comfortable discussing APIs, branching strategy, or CI/CD pipelines with engineers.
- Background in SaaS or healthtech product delivery.
- CSM, PSM, or equivalent Agile certification.
Working Conditions:
- Onsite for 6 months and Hybrid upon regularization
- UK hours
