About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised IT Service Coordinator to join a growing team.

This is an entry-level coordination role suited to someone with 1–2 years of IT experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy MSP environment. You will play a key part in keeping service delivery running smoothly by following up on open projects, processing hardware and software orders, and supporting the helpdesk team when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Monitor and follow up on open projects to ensure they are progressing on schedule
  • Liaise with technicians and suppliers to obtain updates and chase outstanding actions
  • Maintain accurate records of project status within the service management platform
  • Escalate delays or blockers to the Service Manager in a timely manner

Hardware & Software Procurement

  • Process hardware and software orders received from internal teams and clients
  • Raise purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery timelines
  • Track order status and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all orders are accurately logged and reconciled against quotes and invoices
  • Verify Microsoft licensing terms match the agreed terms on the customer quote and MSA before placing orders

Helpdesk Support

  • Answer inbound helpdesk calls and log tickets accurately during periods of high demand
  • Triage and assign incoming tickets to the appropriate technician
  • Provide first-line support for straightforward queries where possible
  • Maintain a professional and helpful manner with clients at all times

General

  • Maintain up-to-date records across all areas of responsibility
  • Support the wider service delivery team with administrative tasks as required
  • Adhere to company processes, procedures, and quality standards

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 1–2 years of experience in an IT support, coordination, or administration role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A methodical approach with attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 applications
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Desirable

  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Familiarity with IT service management or ticketing platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask)
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft licensing and procurement
  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals or equivalent qualification
