ACCOUNTANT

About the Company:
A fast-growing, homegrown FMCG brand and distribution company recognized among the Top 50 Startups by Forbes Middle East. Established in 2013, the brand operates in multiple countries and offers organic, lactose-free, and plant-based dairy products, catering primarily to health-conscious families.

Reporting:

• Reports to the Head of Finance
• Part of a team of 4

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage key customer invoicing and reconciliations
• Generate accurate statements of accounts receivable
• Monitor daily customer receivables and follow up on payments
• Allocate credit notes and process rebate accruals/reversals
• Upload rebate invoices and reconcile customer payments with bank accounts
• Validate and record trade spend with Sales
• Allocate head office expenses
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Excise Tax, FTA registration, and ESR requirements
• Perform general ledger functions
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified accountant with 3–5 years of experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O and FTA VAT Portal
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Slack preferred
• Experience in SME to medium-sized companies
• FMCG or international company experience preferred
