Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Travel Agent with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using Amadeus GDS to join our dynamic and fast-growing travel company. This role offers the opportunity to work with an international customer base from Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the UK, delivering exceptional travel solutions and ensuring a seamless booking experience. You will play a critical role in preparing competitive travel quotes, managing bookings, and ensuring our clients journeys start on the right note.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate tour bookings, ensuring all itineraries are confirmed and client needs are met.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive international flight quotations for clients based on their preferences, travel requirements, and budget.
  • Issue travel insurance policies for departing customers, ensuring compliance with coverage requirements and client requests.
  • Process and issue flight tickets promptly and accurately via the Amadeus GDS platform.

  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service through email, phone, and other communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate booking records and ensure all client data is handled securely.

  • Resolve booking issues, last-minute changes, and travel disruptions with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Amadeus GDS with a minimum of 2 years of usage experience.

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the travel and tourism industry.

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A commitment to exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • A positive attitude, team-player mindset, and a proactive approach to work.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to work UK or AU business hours to support our international clientele.
