Job Position: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of our boats, wave runners, air compressors, golf carts, and company facilities. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a small team effectively.

Key Competencies:

Must hold current qualifications relevant to mechanical maintenance.

Extensive experience and knowledge of inboard and outboard boat engines, air compressors, wave runners, and general maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret schematic charts and technical manuals.

Experience in team coordination and supervision.

Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Spanish is not mandatory but is considered an advantage.

Must adhere to the company's dress code and professional conduct standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Equipment & Facilities Maintenance

Oversee all maintenance activities related to boat engines, wave runners, air compressors, golf carts, and company facilities.

Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program for all mechanical and electrical systems.

Diagnose and perform major and specialized mechanical overhauls and repairs on gasoline and diesel engines.

Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.

Operate hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment.

Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts and maintenance-related supplies to prevent shortages.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and perform repairs accordingly.

Team & Operations Management

Supervise and coordinate the daily schedules and activities of the maintenance team.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workshop.

Assist with local procurement of spare parts and necessary supplies.

Oversee monthly inventory checks of tools, spare parts, and maintenance-related items.

Ensure that all maintenance records and control sheets are accurately documented and updated.

Plan and coordinate programmed maintenance in collaboration with Dive Team Leaders for diving equipment.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare detailed maintenance reports outlining completed tasks, identified issues, solutions, and future preventive measures.

Conduct weekly facility inspections to assess maintenance needs and report findings.

Comply with assigned tasks from the Destination Director and AMEA Maintenance Supervisor.

Adhere to the companys Appearance and Conduct Code.
