About the job Construction Engineer (Makati, Onsite)
Qualifications:
o Must have Electrical background (or civil with electrical background)
o Must have knowledge in CAD and BIM drawings
o willing to work overtime
o with 3 to 5 years experience in construction projects (civil & electrical)
o good written and verbal communication skill, able to prepare project documentations
o good grasp of design works for electrical and civil
o knowledgeable in electrical and civil designs
Job Description:
o shall attend regular meetings with customer and engage design discussions
o shall prepare required documents / reports for submission to customer
o work with PM and other technical team of the company to come up with solutions or required output for the project
o shall work with project subcontractors.
o shall prepare necessary plans such as method statement, construction/installation plans
o Ensure all construction activities comply with safety standards, reducing risk of electrical hazards.
o Oversee the quality of both electrical and civil engineering work, ensuring projects meet or exceed technical standards.
o Assist in the development and management of project budgets, focusing on electrical materials and labor cost estimation.
o Serve as a key point of contact for electrical engineering matters, liaising between project stakeholders, design teams, and subcontractors.
o Stay informed of advancements in the field of electrical engineering and construction, proposing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
o Supervise and inspect construction sites to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and schedules.
o Preparation of Site Activities and Progress Report.
o Serve as a key point of contact for engineering matters, liaising between project stakeholders, design teams, and subcontractors.
o Prepares all communications with the client, construction managers, interfacing parties or consultants as needed.
o Ensures conformity in terms of approved plans and specifications.
o While the project is ongoing, he/she is responsible for safety measures on-site.
o Supervise and inspect construction sites to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and schedules.
o To perform other activities that may be assigned from time to time.
