JOB SUMMARY
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to lead the technical design, including grid, required for the development of renewable energy projects in the SEA (Malaysia and Philippines). The role will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient integration of renewable energy sources into the grid network, while maximizing projects reliability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the technical requirements required by the renewable energy projects (Solar and Wind) during the pre- development and development.
- Identify potential points of interconnection on the Grid for the development of renewable energy projects.
- Lead the preparation and completion of grid studies with the support of grid consultants on the respective countries.
- Ensure compliance with design requirements and grid codes related to renewable energy integration, and engage with regulatory agencies to address grid-related issues and obtain necessary approvals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams located in India and France on the design optimization of the project.
- Analyze grid performance data, including renewable energy generation patterns and grid stability metrics, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in design of renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of grid infrastructure and renewable energy technologies, including grid integration challenges and solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in designing renewable energy project, including grid management and grid codes.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address complex grid integration issues and optimize renewable energy utilization.
- Knowledge in designing Wind Energy Projects is a plus.
Work Set-Up:
- Hybrid Set-up 2 days | WFH 3 days | RTO - Pasig City
- Mondays to Fridays 40hrs in a week (normally 9am-6PM)
