Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations. Including onsite testing activities and rectification works.
- Review and analyse system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis.
- Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.
- Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance, leadership role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.
