Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations. Including onsite testing activities and rectification works.
  • Review and analyse system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis.
  • Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.
  • Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance, leadership role is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.
