- Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager
- Contract Duration: 5 months
- Shift Schedule: 2/3pm-11/12pm mnl (but candidate should be flexible & also amendable to OT)
Job Description:
- Develop and Execute Sourcing and Category Strategy for various Indirect (non-production) goods and services (Capex/ Opex)
- Develop Supplier landscape for various spend categories by continuously screening suppliers in domestic market, running RFI, evaluating suppliers on risk and performance
- Develop format for RFI / RFQ, initiate RFI or RFQs for various procurement needs, perform in-depth analysis and comparison of RFQs, present commercial proposals and provide holistic recommendations to internal stakeholders/ business units.
- Develop negotiation strategy to negotiate on commercial terms with the suppliers and achieve the target cost. Knowledge on applicable indirect taxes in India is must. Experience to working in STPI & SEZ environment is preferred
- Initiate Contract and perform review with Contract Specialist on disputed terms, get the contract signed from authorized signatories and upload in the contract repository.
- Process Purchase Requisitions from various internal stakeholders, obtain quote, shortlist best supplier, release PO and follow up on the deliverables from suppliers. Proactively keep all stakeholders informed on delivery status.
- Manage supplier relationship effectively. Maintain supplier performance scorecard by seeking inputs from internal stakeholders and take necessary actions to improve suppliers performance
- Prepare and Maintain Sourcing dashboard and prepare adhoc reports as requested.
- Adhere to Principals Global Procurement and related policies and standards
- Support Internal audit process, perform RCA and implement short and long term solutions to close the observations.
- Prepare request for quotations and purchase orders in the PO tool, ensuring that proper GL code and department code are correct.
- Responsible for meeting the budget/forecast for each purchase and variance are accounted for, if there is any .
- Perform 3 way matching: Delivery receipts, Purchase orders and Invoice.
- Review invoices and ensure that hard copy of all invoices are submitted to Finance
- Handle all Employee Engagement
- Handle all kinds of purchase, PO & Non-PO
Qualifications:
- Any Bachelors degree, certification in supply chain/ procurement domain is preferred
- 10+ years of end to end procurement experience in Indian service sector located in SPTI/ SEZ unit with
- Strategic Sourcing/ Category Management/ Tactical Sourcing experience for 2-3 spend categories (eg. Facilities, IT hardware, Recruitment, benefits, learning and development, etc.) for Indian SEZ/ STPI unit.
- Knowledge of PO & Contract terms
- Good in commercial acumen, performing supplier negotiations and fair understanding of local legal terms and conditions
- Good in performing Spend data analysis and proficient in using MS Excel, PowerPoint for preparing and delivering Sourcing recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Good in internal and external stakeholder management
- Exposure to any Source to Pay / ERP tool
- Adaptable and flexible
