Requirements:
- At least 1 year of QA/Coding experience or relevant expertise
- QA Experience is highly preferred
Shift schedule:
- Flexible to work on shifting schedule if business asks (weekends, night shift, holidays)
Work setup: TWFH
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Auditing and Review: Conducts retrospective and concurrent audits of inpatient coded records to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with official coding guidelines.
- Feedback and Education: Provides detailed feedback to coding staff based on audit findings, offering education and training to improve coding accuracy.
- Trend Analysis and Improvement: Identifies trends or recurring issues in coding accuracy and recommends corrective actions, training programs, or process improvements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Works with coding teams, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to refine workflows, improve documentation practices, and resolve coding-related issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintains audit logs, scorecards, and reports to track performance, identify areas needing improvement, and demonstrate compliance with internal and external guidelines.
