Responsibilities:

As a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibility is to design and develop complex systems to meet specific requirements. Other duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of functionality, performance, and constraints.
• System Architecture: Design the overall architecture of the system, including subsystems, interfaces, and interactions, to meet the specified requirements.
• Component Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate components, technologies, and platforms to implement the system design, considering factors such as cost, performance, and compatibility.
• Prototyping and Modeling: Develop prototypes or models to validate the system design and assess its feasibility, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and functionality.
• Integration: Coordinate the integration of subsystems and components, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation across the entire system.
• Testing and Verification: Develop test plans and procedures to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of the system design, conducting tests and analyses to validate its performance against requirements.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years work experience on various communication systems technologies such as fiber-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management, PABX and travel information systems preferred.
• Experience in implementing railway-related projects will be an added advantage.
