Inventory and Procurement Planner | Iloilo

What you'll be working on:

1. Demand Forecasting:

• Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to predict future material and product needs.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to adjust forecasts as needed.

2. Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overstocking or understocking.
• Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and excess costs.

3. Order Placement:

• Generate purchase requests based on inventory needs and production schedules.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner .

4. Cost Management:

• Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within budget.

5. Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery and receipt of materials.
• Resolve any issues related to shipping, delivery delays, or damaged goods.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Track and analyze procurement metrics, such as order accuracy, supplier performance, and inventory turnover .
• Prepare regular reports for management on procurement activities and performance.

7. Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and sales, to align purchasing activities with overall business goals.

What we're looking for:

• Open to candidates with at least 5 years of professional experience; prior work in a similar industry is Desirable.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity in supply chain management software and tools, including SAP or equivalent ERP systems and MRP software.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time, Graveyard Shift (12MN- 9AM OR 4AM- 1PM)
